Crystal Palace Stands Firm on £60 Million Valuation for Star Forwards Eze and Olise

Crystal Palace Stands Firm on £60 Million Valuation for Star Forwards Eze and Olise
Crystal Palace is prepared to let go of their star forwards Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise only for offers starting at £60 million or more per player. Currently enjoying a stable position in the Premier League following their 12th consecutive season showing, the club sees no financial urgency to trade their stars.

Eze, age 25, and Olise, age 22, have been performing at peak levels, attracting potential bids in the forthcoming summer. To that end, Crystal Palace has strategically placed a £60 million starting price tag on both players.

Both Eze and Olise have agreed to long-term deals this season, putting Crystal Palace in a formidable negotiation position. Furthermore, their contracts lack a conventional release clause. Therefore, any potential transfers will be meticulously calculated, factoring in percentages owed to their former clubs, the players, and Crystal Palace.

Among past interests, Eze drew attention from Manchester City who instead recruited Wolves' Matheus Nunes. On the other hand, Chelsea had attempted to sign Olise for around £35 million, under the false impression of activating his release clause.

The current players are content at Palace, ensuring any potential transfer caters to their broader interests. Specifically, they wish to join a team that would allow them to exercise their ball skills and amplify their attacking flair.

Viewed as potential Champions League caliber by pundits, Eze and Olise have markedly contributed to Crystal Palace's striking strength, accounting for 13 of the 14 goals in the six games they started together. This has led experts to predict a flurry of clubs pursuing them courtesy of their outstanding performances and potential.

The club has experienced notable successes with signings from the Championship under sporting director Dougie Freedman, which includes the likes of Marc Guehi and most recently, Adam Wharton. Notably, Guehi, a 23-year-old England international who joined in 2021, stands a good chance of making it into the England squad for the upcoming Euros. He represents yet another player from the club that might draw in transfer bids this summer.
